Well it certainly is a new year for me - things are changing everywhere I look!

To begin with, I’m now blogging on tumblr (better/custom theme coming soon). I made the switch from WordPress because of the simpler interface and the various posting templates that tumblr offers. Plus, I’m horrible at maintaining a full-on talk-all-the-time blog, so the micro-blogging format seemed a better fit for me. My goal is to blog at least once a week, focusing on the topics of Tunes, Tea, Tech, and Truth. Truth, being whatever I feel like! :P

Another big change is that I’m now engaged! That’s right, Adam Bellinson proposed to me on January 2, 2010 - 01022010 (a palindrome)! At this point, we’re tentatively looking at getting hitched on 9/10/11! I know - we are totally geeks! I plan to start a wedding planning blog of some kind and will let you all know of it’s whereabouts when I get it set up.

Not only is 2010 proving itself to be the year of change, it’s also proving to be the year of productivity!

We’ve projected a strong year for my company, Ann Arbor-based MetaSpring, with plenty of great site launches to come.

I’ll also be working on my photo archiving side project - jarchiver.com - stay tuned for beta invites!

And already, I’ve made huge progress in my family tree research - just today I discovered a 2nd cousin twice removed that I never knew I had!

So it seems that 2010 is going to be a crazy and hopefully awesome year. Hope you’re all off to a great start too!
